Orpheus Moraitis is an Electronic engineer specialized in sound related projects, and has worked with musicians and visual artists throughout Greece. He currently works as a Software and Hardware Developer at Dreadbox-fx. 


In June he is escorting a Halldorophone, an electroacoustic cello, from Athens to Stockholm to be deposited at EMS. Working with Halldór Ulfarsson, the creator of the Halldorophone, Orpheus has contributed to the electronic design of the instrument. 


Musically he is interested in experimenting with all kinds of media for creating ambient / drone like soundscapes, and to find new ways of implementing ideas on his own designs. During his stay he is looking forward to exploring the analouge synths at EMS.
