Niko de Paula Lefort composes, performs, builds musical instruments and interactive / generative audio-visual systems
in order to explore, map and expend the boundaries of the
aural multiverse we are living in. 

He is a co-founder of Portals Editions record label and Archipel Community Radio. With solo and collaborative projects such
as Shaddah Tuum, Hanz Memorial and SUM, his work as been performed or exhibited in both hemispheres, at CTM festival, Bozar festival, Norberg festival, Berghain, Heimathafen Berlin, Volksbühne, Emitter Micro Festival, Umlaut Festival, Musikinstrumenten Museum Berlin, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, HeK Basel and Audio Rebel among other institutions.
His sonic production has been released on Emitter Micro,
Portals Editions, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Eotrax and Clan Destine. 

He holds a master degree in Generative Art / Computational Art from the Arts University in Berlin, with a year as a MFA student
in Music Technology: Interaction, Intelligence & Design and Experimental Sound Practices at the California Institute for
the Arts.

He is currently studying Dhrupad singing with Amelia Cuni
and Marianne Svasek.
