Ernst van der Loo is an electroacoustic composer working in the medium of spatial audio in all its different guises. 

Materials for his pieces ranges from (ambisonic) field recordings to multichannel analogue and digital synthesis. 

He is based in Norway since 2014 but originates from the Netherlands. He studied at the Institute of Sonology and more recently at the Norwegian Academy of music. He is a member of Electric Audio Unit which organises spatial audio concerts in Norway.
