Norah Lorway is a Canadian live coder/composer based in in the UK, where she has been completing her Ph.D in Electroaocustic/Computer music at the University of Birmingham. As of late, her work is focused on acousmatic and live computer music performance, with a particular preoccupation with combining ambient electronica and acousmatic music styles in laptop performance. During her residency, she will work on a series of new tools and pieces in SuperCollider for use in a live coding laptop performance, which she will go on to use during performances at NIME 2014 and an Algorave in Brighton, UK, both in July.
